One of the best views of the entire bay & town is from El Mirador de La Cruz that sits on one of the many hills in PV. We’ll start our walk from El Rio Cuale, crossing a pedestrian swing bridge on the island, climb a few stairs up to the former Elizabeth Taylor home which is now a well-known restaurant, Casa Kimberly. From there we’ll meander along the small streets to the steep incline towards the Mirador, climbing several stairs to reach the top. Fresh juices, cold water, flavored water (agua de sabor) & sparkling wine to drink straight or enjoy as a refreshing mimosa (don’t worry, we’ll bring a bottle of tequila too!) are ready to sip as you take in the view and relax.
On the return we’ll wind down another few hidden staircases and drop into Centro where you’re free to stroll the malecon, taking in the various sculpture artwork and/ or splash around on the beach. We do this “hike” several times a week to enjoy the sunset or early morning in flip flops most of the time but sneakers are recommended.
Enjoy your choice of tamales or bagels on our breakfast tour with your mimosas, and elotes or tacos from one of our favourite taco stands after our sunset tour!
Sunsets are nothing short of EPIC in Puerto Vallarta!! We never tire of catching the sunset from one of our favourite terraces in PV. Be blown away as you watch the sky change through a kaleidoscope of colour from the radiant glow as the sun goes down over the horizon, to the stunning & vibrant molten hues as the sky melts into twilight and slowly disappears from view.
A minimum of two terraces are included as we watch the different stages of the sunset with two drinks & snacks at each spot. We’re happy to repeat as often as you wish and head to a different sunset terrace every day you are here, or a list of our favs will be included for you to enjoy at your leisure.
